Harvest 2025
The 2025 harvest in Champagne is shaping up to be one of those vintages destined to remain etched in collective memory, astonishingly perfect at every stage.
After a cold winter, which granted the vines their ideal period of dormancy, a warm and steady spring encouraged a harmonious flowering. Summer, radiant yet without excess, then guided the grapes to full maturity, ensuring a sanitary state that was nothing short of impeccable.
This viticultural year has reached a rare and precious equilibrium: acidity and sugars exist in perfect harmony, offering a vibrant, balanced foundation that promises Champagnes of great purity, refined elegance, and remarkable ageing potential.
The grapes already release a stunning aromatic bouquet, rich in freshness and complexity, a prelude to refined Cuvées capable of stirring deep emotion and revealing their splendour over time.
If one aspect could be considered a “drawback”, it would only be the slightly lower yield compared with other harvests. Yet, as so often happens with legendary vintages, quality has soared to such extraordinary heights that quantity becomes a secondary detail.
Of course, the definitive confirmation of this extraordinary potential will come with the tasting of the vins clairs, from February onwards, when the base wines will reveal their true character and offer a glimpse of the future brilliance of the Cuvées.
Thus, 2025 presents itself as an exceptional vintage, destined to write a radiant new chapter in the history of Champagne: a year in which nature, with rare generosity, has given the very best of itself, producing fruits that will bring enchantment, elegance, and magic to every flute.
