The Champagne of Vignerons

The Vignerons of Champagne, before creating their own history, used to sell all their grapes to the great Maisons of Champagne.

Today, with the same grapes, they create their Champagne, a Champagne that speaks of the terroir from which it comes from.

Each Champagne is unique. It is the fruit of the land and the work of the Vigneron.

Vigneron's Champagnes are haute-couture Champagnes with a true terroir character. 

While the better-known brands (or Grandes Maisons) buy most of their grapes, the Champagnes of Vignerons are made by the Vignerons themselves and from their grapes. 

Each Cuvée corresponds to a real enhancement of terroir (as it is the case in Burgundy). 

With them, we find an identity value rather than a style or brand.

THE WORK OF THE VIGNERON

Being a Vigneron means living with nature all year round, whether it rains, whether it is windy, whether it is freezing or whether there is a beautiful blue sky.

The Vigneron respects his terroir, works in his vineyard, harvests his grapes, vinifies and refines his wine, bottles it in his cellar, markets his Cuvées, perfects then respecting tradition, and takes pleasure in presenting the fruit of his labor and culture.

He also learns to renew himself each year. The vignerons always have to question their cultivation practices to take the best care of their vines.  

As the creator of their wines, they perpetuate ancestral know-how by subtly combining tradition and modern viticulture.

Being a Vigneron means working the vines year-round and taking care of them to obtain beautiful grapes; it means harvesting these grapes and taking them to the pressoir to extract a quality must; finally, it means processing these wines personally in the cellars to create Champagnes that convey their terroir.
